Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

cetus-consent — stored in your browser’s local storage. Records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked on every page. Set only once you make a choice, and it stays until you clear your browser data. This one cannot be turned off, because it is what remembers your decision.

Analytics — only if you accept

If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 directly. There is no tag manager in front of it. It measures which pages are read and how people arrive, so we know which parts of the site are useful. It sets cookies beginning _ga, typically lasting up to two years, and _ga_<measurement ID>, used to keep session state.

We use Google Consent Mode. Before you accept, analytics storage is set to denied and the Google Analytics script is not downloaded at all. Declining does not degrade the site in any way.

Changing your mind

Clear your browser’s site data for cetuspro.pro and the banner reappears on your next visit, letting you choose again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings — every major browser supports this — and the site will continue to work normally.

Third parties

Google Analytics is operated by Google, which processes the data as described in its own privacy documentation. Our site is served through a content delivery network which may process your IP address in order to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse. This is a security and delivery function rather than tracking.
