This Privacy Policy explains how Cetus Star LLC, which operates under the brand Cetus Pro (“Cetus Pro”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares information when you use our website cetuspro.pro and our dispatching, ELD and log book, and back-office help (the “Services”). Terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms and Conditions.

Information we collect

• Contact and business details you give us: name, company or DBA, phone number, email, MC number, home base, fleet size, equipment and your message.
• Information needed to run your dispatch or compliance work: documents such as authority letters, insurance certificates, W-9 and factoring notices, and load, rate and hours-of-service information.
• Text message records: your mobile number, the messages exchanged, their date and time and delivery status.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, provide and manage the Services, communicate with you by phone, email and text message, meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

Text messages (SMS)

• We text you only if you opted in on our contact form or texted us first. We send conversational messages only, never advertising or marketing.
• Mobile Opt-In, SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with third parties and affiliates for marketing purposes.
• To deliver messages we use a messaging provider and the mobile carriers, who process your number and the message only to deliver it.
• Message frequency varies, up to 9 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

• with parties needed to perform the work you ask for, such as brokers, shippers and the carrier you work with, and only what that work needs;
• with providers who help us run the business (for example telephone and messaging, email, hosting), bound to use it only for us;
• with authorities such as the FMCSA or DOT, or when the law, a court order or the protection of people or property requires it.

This website

cetuspro.pro sets no cookies, uses no analytics service and shows no advertising. Visits are counted by the server that hosts the site, without identifying anyone; our Cookie Policy says what is logged and for how long. Messages sent through the website forms are stored on the server that hosts this site for up to 30 days and used only to answer you or carry out your opt-out.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and protect it with reasonable technical and organisational measures.
